Custom Building and Remodeling Resources

Why Use a Custom Home Builder or Artisan?

One of a Kind: A custom home is just that - custom. It is built to your unique needs and specifications, and you can customize it to fit your tastes. The flexibility to choose your home plan and interior features not only allows you to create the home of your dreams, it also increases your home's value and desirability.
Value for your Money: A common misconception is that custom home builders cost more than tract home builders. However, when you compare them, you get more for your money with a custom home builder.
In addition, building your own home without using a builder can often cost more, because you become the General Contractor. Not having the connections with suppliers and being able to negotiate the best price for goods and services, often ends up costing more in the long run.
Custom interior and exterior features make your home unique.
Customer Service: When using a custom builder or artisan, you have one point of contact for all your concerns.

If you are thinking of custom building a home or adding custom elements to your existing home, these Red Vault members are ready to help you.

Two Extraordinary Antique and Art Events are coming to Houston, and The Red Vault is proud to be a sponsor of both.

On September 16-18, 2011 at the George R Brown Convention Center will be HADA and Houston Fine Art Fair!  Although they are separate shows, I believe they will work beautifully together at that venue - showcasing how fine antiques and art mix together. Both shows have early buying events on September 15 - please visit their websites for full information and ticket prices.

HADA
Celebrate America's oldest association of antiques dealers, established in 1964.  Shop one of the most venerated Antique Shows in the country.  Support a beloved Houston tradition that gives back to the community.  Toast the approaching half-century of HADA.  Cruise the approximately 150 national and international exhibitor's booths with merchandise from around the world. Discover extraordinary treasures from museum-worthy furniture to scintillating objects of art.

Houston Fine Art Fair
The first annual Houston Fine Art Fair is set to blow the cover off the country's best-kept secret. Still undiscovered by many of the most savvy art aficionados, Houston will soon be known as the cultural gem of the US-home to major museums, a thriving gallery scene, and a strong base of serious collectors and patrons. And now celebrating its entry into the international art fair calendar, Houston is set to be a gracious host to the first annual HFAF, with festivities beginning on the evening of September 15 at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
HFAF aspires to reflect Houston's sophisticated and diverse collecting practices, where arts enthusiasts will encounter an international cross-section of works in all media, from post-war to the present.  Some 80 distinctive exhibitors from across the US, Latin America and Europe are participating in the fair, featuring modern and contemporary masters, mid-career and emerging artists from around the globe. HFAF will also feature on-site installations, special projects, and an exciting program of panel discussions designed for both novice and experienced collectors.

Four members of The Red Vault will be exhibiting at HADA!
Past Era Antique Jewelry, Pride of Persia Rugs, Sandra's Treasures, and Charlotte Nail Antiques
Be sure to visit their booths at HADA and tell them you saw them on
